Emerging from the late nineties Chicago Industrial scene, Ryan worked with several bands as a live drummer as well as a producer and sound engineer. In 2000 he founded the company Kult of Athena selling swords and other Medieval weapons. After a few years, KOA had grown beyond a side business and Ryan retired from music to focus on his new sword borne empire. In 2021 Ryan stepped away from that business to focus on other interests, music being one of them. Now returning to music with a vengeance, he has moved beyond his electro-industrial roots and works in the so-called "Epic Music" genre with an aggressive orchestral sound palette. Melding many diverse influences including Classical, Metal, EDM, Punk, Movie Soundtracks and more, Archaius forges a unique style of hybrid orchestral music with bellicose undertones.
Inspired by themes of warfare, conquest, victory and defeat, the music of Archaius is sure to resonate with anyone embodying a warrior's spirit.
